About the Book by Kids Program
One of our most inspiring programs is helping kids and families publish their own books. This creative journey is not only educational—it’s also a memorable way to celebrate a birthday or special event. A book launch can be a unique and meaningful occasion, complete with invitations, book signings, decorations themed around the story, and the joy of sharing a child’s creativity with friends, family, and community.
How it works
- Learning the Basics: We teach the fundamentals of book writing and idea development in a simple, kid-friendly way.
- Brainstorming Ideas: We brainstorm book ideas with your child—whether it’s a sequel to a favorite story or a brand-new idea.
- AI-Powered Writing Support: We use our AI-powered Books by Kids Assistant to guide young writers through the first stages of the writing process.
- Editing, Design, and Publishing: Our team helps with editing, formatting, cover design, and publishing—working closely with you and your child. We also handle distribution through Amazon and other bookstores.
- Fast and Fun Timeline: The entire process takes just one month—from the first meeting to a published book on Amazon.
- Book Launch Party (Optional): If you’d like, we can also organize a book launch party with your child. It can be part of a birthday or another special occasion and may include custom invitations, themed decorations, autograph sessions, and more.
- Online Presence and Fundraising: We also help create a website for your child or their book and, if needed, assist in launching a fundraising campaign on Kickstarter or other platforms.

We use a trained Books by Kids AI Assistant to support children at every stage of the writing process. It helps them develop storylines for new chapters and follow classic storytelling structures.
